amid increasing economic uncertainty stemming from President Trump's agenda.
The Fed held interest rates at current levels for the second straight meeting after three consecutive rate cuts to end 2024. In recent months, many Fed officials have made clear they are increasingly concerned about signs of persistent inflation, citing that as a reason to move cautiously in 2025.
