Triple-A and Coinbase enter crypto payments partnership

Triple-A has joined forces with Coinbase, enabling the latter’s users to make crypto payments to select merchants in Triple-A’s merchant network.

This integration will soon enable Coinbase customers to make daily payment transactions at Triple-A merchants.

The initiative will enable merchants to provide a payment option tailored specifically for Coinbase, thereby increasing convenience for users of the platform.

It also allows Coinbase to connect with merchants to enhance the acceptance of crypto payments.

Triple-A CEO Eric Barbier said: “We’re thrilled to expand our crypto payment solutions through this integration. By enabling Coinbase Commerce across our merchant network, we’re facilitating an improved payment experience for Coinbase users in the US, Europe and beyond.

“Known for its innovative, developer-friendly platform and cutting-edge APIs, working with Coinbase Developer Platform made it easy for us to integrate and deliver an enhanced crypto payment experience for Coinbase users.”

Coinbase Developer Platform Nemil Dalal said: “We see great value in Triple-A’s integration, as it allows our customers to access a wider range of merchants who are already accepting cryptocurrency payments via Triple-A. This integration aligns with our shared mission to continue driving the adoption of crypto and promote its use in bringing the world onchain with everyday transactions.”

Triple-A, a multi-licensed digital currency financial institution, offers businesses the ability to conduct transactions in both fiat and digital currencies without the volatility associated with cryptocurrencies.

In May this year, Triple-A announced the integration of PayPal USD (PYUSD) into its payment services, supporting cross-border transactions utilising the stablecoin.

"Triple-A and Coinbase enter crypto payments partnership " was originally created and published by Electronic Payments International , a GlobalData owned brand.
